B. Ed came into being in 2004, under the stewardship of Late Sri Vendar Balakrishnapillai, A Visionary, Educationalist who through his dedicated efforts has put Vendar on the Educational map of Kerala

The college is affliated to the Univercity of Kerala., Thiruvanathapuram and presently run by Sri Vidyadhiraja Charitable Society.(Reg.Q558/83) Vendar P.O, Kottarakara, Kollam(Dt.) It offers B,Ed Degree in wide range of subjects namely Physical Science, Natural Science, Mathematice, Commerce & Social Science. It has an intake of total 50 seats all subjects.
